I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.

Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
