The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of heroes who will separate from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the actions of the third episode show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party understands precisely where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—used the foes for his personal gain, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the region and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the team reach areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them little choice but to travel to Timmony in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Questers and Strategists groups.

Fans can expect discovering which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
